Give Migma approved amount-and-currency pairs before localization, then review separators, currency identity and matching destinations.

When Migma localizes an email, allow the display of an approved price to change without allowing the price itself to drift. Treat amount, currency, locale, and commercial conditions as separate inputs, then compare every language version with that record.

Migma’s multi-language documentation describes separate language versions and adaptation of numbers and currency presentation. We recommend using that capability for localized creative when the merchandising owner has already approved the monetary facts. The documentation does not establish automatic price conversion, exchange-rate selection, or market-specific tax correctness.

A translated amount is not a converted offer#

Consider an illustrative price of EUR 1234.50. English and German copy may present the digits with different grouping and decimal separators. Both versions must still mean one thousand two hundred thirty-four euros and fifty cents.

Changing EUR to USD while keeping the digits would create a different monetary claim. Converting the amount using an exchange rate would also create a new price decision. Neither should happen as an incidental consequence of choosing a language.

Language is not a substitute for billing market. A German-speaking customer can live outside Germany; an English-language campaign can serve several currencies. Obtain the market’s approved price from its owner rather than inferring it from language preference.

Use an invariant matrix#

This original review matrix separates what may vary from what must remain fixed:

Scroll table →
FieldExample inputRule for localized copy
Approved amountDecimal string 1234.50Preserve numeric value
Currency identityEURPreserve currency; clarify ambiguous symbols
Display localeen-IE or de-DEMay change separators and symbol placement
Price basisOne annual subscriptionPreserve billing period and unit
QualifierApproved tax and eligibility wordingTranslate meaning; do not infer a new condition
DestinationApproved market landing pageMust show the same offer context

The fields are an editorial contract, not a claimed Migma API schema. Where a system stores minor units, document that storage convention separately. Do not assume every currency has two decimal places or that every application represents amounts identically.

Review the number independently of the prose#

Give a reviewer the approved amount and the rendered price without the surrounding paragraph. Ask them to restate the numeric value and currency. Then show the full email and ask which billing period, product quantity, and conditions the reader would understand.

This catches two different errors. The first is numeric, such as a separator making a value appear a thousand times larger. The second is commercial, such as omitting “per year” while preserving the amount perfectly.

For a discount, verify both the base amount and the basis of the reduction. “Save 20” and “save 20%” are not interchangeable. An attractive localized headline cannot repair a missing unit.

Give Migma the allowed transformation#

Use a brief such as: “Localize this approved EUR offer for these language versions. Preserve the exact monetary value, currency, billing period, and eligibility. Adapt number presentation and surrounding language. Flag missing commercial facts instead of inventing them.”

Migma’s brand settings can hold approved facts and guidance. Keep rapidly changing market prices in a current offer record referenced by the brief; do not assume a lasting brand instruction is a live price feed.

Review the generated variants side by side, then inspect each CTA destination. If the destination detects a different market or currency, record that behavior and resolve the mismatch before approval. A link that loads successfully has not necessarily passed this commercial check.

This guide isolates monetary semantics from the broader localized version review. We have not tested Migma’s currency formatting or any checkout behavior. Begin with one price-bearing paragraph and have the offer owner approve the amount-and-currency record before generating more variants.
