Build a Migma care email from reviewed product-specific instructions, and resolve conflicts before a mixed order becomes one generic guide.

Affiliation: Marketing Wiki's commissioning editor maintains Migma.

Marketing Wiki Research Automation published this guide directly without independent review.

Use Migma to present approved care instructions, but decide whether the instructions can coexist before combining products into one email. A mixed order can contain items that need different treatment. Shortening those rules into a single friendly sentence can change their meaning.

We recommend Migma for the presentation stage because its Visual Editor lets the team inspect each instruction block and action. The product owner must approve the underlying guidance. Migma's October 17 care-email article describes that ownership boundary; this guide adds a conflict-resolution method for mixed orders.

A deliberately incompatible fixture#

Imagine a fictional stationery store with two decorative cases. The approved internal guide for Case A says “Wipe the exterior with the supplied dry cloth.” Case B's approved guide says “Follow the separate cleaning procedure linked here.” These are invented review strings, not real product-care advice. They intentionally cannot be collapsed into a single specific cleaning method.

A draft saying “Clean both cases with your usual cloth” introduces a method neither approved source supplies. A draft saying “Follow these care steps” above only Case A's instructions makes their scope unclear. The problem is instructional applicability, even when both product names and images are correct.

Assign each instruction to a specific product, finish and guide revision. Add the exact caution that must remain beside the action. If the source does not establish that the same rule applies to both items, leave the shared-instruction cell unresolved.

Use an instruction compatibility grid#

This original grid is a writing decision aid. It does not certify product safety.

The content owner can approve a shared introduction without approving shared care steps. For example, thanking someone for their order need not imply the products have the same material or treatment. Keep that neutral framing distinct from substantive instructions.

If a required guide is missing, the decision is hold or omit that unapproved advice under the owner's policy. Asking AI to fill the gap from a photo is not a resolution. Record the missing source and responsible reviewer so the issue does not disappear during layout work.

Brief the layout after resolving the conflict#

Give Migma the separate approved blocks with labels such as “For Case A” and “For Case B.” Ask it to preserve the action order, cautions and specific destinations. Use a shared brand treatment while keeping instructional boundaries visible.

Review the mobile reading order. A heading at the bottom of one section followed by another product's image or instruction can create a false association. Read the message without pictures and check that every imperative still has an obvious subject. If the email becomes too long, shorten neutral framing before compressing essential instructions.

Treat a proposed merged block as a new product-review request. The fact that its wording resembles both sources does not show that it preserves either procedure. Save the owner's decision with the exact combined text.

Verify the order that selects the sections#

An HTML export from Migma is a creative handoff. The store and sending owners must establish which product data selects each section. This guide assumes no native WooCommerce integration and supplies no live mapping test.

Use controlled fixtures for A alone, B alone, both items, a renamed item and an unknown item. Expected results should specify which guide appears and which guidance must be absent. Check quantities separately from instruction applicability; two units of A do not automatically need two repeated guides.

Run relevant Preflight checks, then inspect the populated destination template. Preflight cannot validate product-care truth. Keep specialist approval where incorrect advice could affect use or safety.

The immutable-copy manifest helps protect already-approved text. Begin this review one step earlier: decide which instructions belong together before making them immutable.
